Mountain America Credit Union offers six scholarships

The Paul R. Ball Scholarship honors the late Paul R. Ball, former vice president of Mountain America's Human Resource Department. Three winners are selected to receive $1,500 each. Applicants must be members (or immediate family of members) of Mountain America. Applications will be available after February 4, 2008 at any Mountain America branch. Completed applications must be postmarked by April 11, 2008 and sent to Mountain America Credit Union, Public Relations Department, P.O. Box 9001, West Jordan, UT 84084-9001.

The Mountain America Credit Union/Utah Public Employees Association (UPEA) Scholarship is available to members or dependants of both Mountain America and UPEA. This scholarship awards three winners with $1,000 each. Applications will be available at any Mountain America branch or at the UPEA office at 1100 W. Bellwood Lane (5380 S.), Murray, UT 84123 after January 7, 2008. Completed applications are due by 5:00 p.m. April 4, 2008 to the UPEA office. Scholarships will be awarded at the 2008 UPEA General Council, Friday, April 25th at the Sheraton Hotel in SLC.
